Responsive 155cc EURO5+ Blue Core engine
The NMAX 155 Tech MAX is equipped with one of the most sophisticated engines ever produced by Yamaha for a lightweight scooter. Developed using Yamaha's advanced Blue Core technology that ensures minimal fuel consumption with low emissions and optimum efficiency, the 155cc EURO5+ fuel injected engine gives strong performance on the highway and in the city.
YECVT 2-mode adjustable transmission
When you select 'Sport' or 'Town' mode, the YECVT (Yamaha Electric Continuously Variable Transmission) adjusts engine performance to suit riding conditions. The downshift function provides stronger acceleration when you press the Shift button or open the throttle rapidly – and you can also use the same technique to increase engine braking for enhanced controllability during deceleration.
Dual-eye projector headlights
The NMAX 155 Tech MAX's high-tech image is underlined by the sophisticated LED headlight design. 4.2-inch connected TFT dash
The 4.2-inch full colour connected dashboard is one of the most impressive in the class and features a main TFT display with Garmin Navigation*, as well as an LCD display. By downloading the MyRIde App to your smartphone you can listen to music**, answer incoming calls**, view email and SMS notifications and more, enabling you to keep in touch with family, friends and work. The high quality dual seat features a special black leather-look cover with gold stitching, suede detailing and welded embossing – this premium model is available in Crystal Graphite and Midnight Black colours.
Start & Stop system
By maximising engine efficiency, Yamaha's Blue Core technology ensures that the NMAX 155 Tech MAX fully complies with EURO5+ regulations, making this premium Sport Scooter suitable for use in low emission inner city zones. Emissions are reduced further by the Start & Stop system that turns the engine off when you come to a standstill and automatically starts up when you let the brakes off and twist the throttle.
13-inch wheels, disc brakes with ABS
The NMAX 155 Tech MAX is fitted with lightweight 13-inch wheels with a 110/70-13 front tyre and wide 130/70-13 rear tyre that provide high levels of traction and contribute to the smooth ride quality. The 230mm diameter discs at the front and rear give balanced and progressive braking, and the ABS system inhibits accidental wheel lock ups on low traction road surfaces – making this stylish Sport Scooter suitable for a variety of weather conditions.

For assured roadholding and high levels of riding comfort wherever you go the lightweight chassis is equipped with smooth-action telescopic forks giving 100mm of suspension travel at the front – with twin shock suspension offering 91mm at the rear.
